SOLAR4EV may also collect personally identifiable and transactional information voluntarily provided by visitors who sign in and/or purchase products from the Website or complete various business forms. This information may include, but is not limited to, company name, name, email address, User ID, password, telephone number, shipping information, purchase and quote information, and credit, billing, or payment information, which may include credit cardholder name and card number/expiration date, bank account information, Employee Identification Numbers (EIN), or Social Security Numbers, credit reports, and corporate ownership information. SOLAR4EV may also retain the content of any communications that are sent to SOLAR4EV’s representatives.

If you delete your User information from the Website, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages. Copies may also have been stored for business purposes by SOLAR4EV.

This Website uses cookies to identify who is visiting the Website. The cookies enable us to secure content for authorized visitors and to present content in a personalized manner. Our cookies track very limited information, as described in this Notice, and they do not track your Internet usage beyond the pages of this Website.

We Do NOT share mobile phone numbers collected with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

SOLAR4EV may engage third parties to host, operate, and/or maintain the Website or to analyze or audit the site. SOLAR4EV may give them access to personal information on the Website to the extent required to perform their responsibilities. Although we try to work with reputable third parties who have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of all information on the Website, we cannot and do not guarantee that those companies will protect the information collected on or used by the Website.

This Notice does not extend to anything beyond SOLAR4EV’s reasonable control, including but not limited to potential security limitations inherent in conducting business over the Internet. SOLAR4EV is not responsible for any breach of security or for the actions of any third parties.

SOLAR4EV has the right to disable any username, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by the User or provided by SOLAR4EV, at any time, in SOLAR4EV’s sole discretion, for any or no reason, including if, in SOLAR4EV’s opinion, the User has violated any provision of this Privacy Notice.

SOLAR4EV has no obligation to retain any personal information you submit, and we may destroy or delete it at any time.

1.8    Changes to Our Privacy Notice

We reserve the right to amend this privacy notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy notice, we will post the updated notice on the Website and update the notice’s effective date. Your continued use of our Website after posting changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

This California Consumer Privacy Notice supplements the information in our Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. It applies solely to consumers who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). We retain your personal information associated with your account with us, including purchase and credit information, by SOLAR4EV’s record retention requirements, which comply with legal, regulatory, or accounting obligations to resolve disputes, and to enforce or support contractual agreements and provide the products or services you have 6 requested. We retain other information, such as browsing activity and searches, for a shorter period but no longer than required under applicable law or SOLAR4EV policies.

1.2.2    Your Rights and Choices

The CCPA provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.

1.2.3   Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion 0), we will disclose:

  • The categories of personal information we collected about you.
  • The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
  • Our business or commercial purpose is to collect or sell that personal information.
  • The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
  • The specific personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
  • If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:

We do not provide these access and data portability rights for B2B personal information.

1.2.4   Deletion Request Rights

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion 0), we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records unless an exception applies.

We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:

  1. Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted by federal law, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
  2. Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
  3. Debug products to identify and repair errors impairing intended functionality.
  4. Exercise free speech ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights or exercise another right provided for by law.
  5. Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).
  6. Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement if you previously provided informed consent.
  7. Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
  8. Comply with a legal obligation.
  9. Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

We do not provide these deletion rights for B2B personal information.

1.2.5   Exercising Access, Data Portability and Deletion Rights

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of receipt. If we require more time (up to 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically at your option.

Our disclosures will only cover the 12 months before receipt of the verifiable consumer request. Our response will also explain why we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide a cost estimate before completing your request.

We do not sell the personal information of consumers of any age.

1.3    Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not
